These are the terms for a Griffin Digital website and care plan, written in plain English. By going ahead with a build, you agree to them.

The build

• The build is a fixed $990 for a website of up to five pages, including the local SEO setup, Google Business Profile setup and review kit described on the Websites page.
• You'll provide your logo, photos, service details and contact details. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send me.
• Anything outside the build, such as extra pages, an online shop or booking system, or logo design, is quoted up front before any work starts.

Paying when you're happy

• You see the finished site before paying anything. I'll make reasonable changes until you're happy with it.
• The $990 is due when you approve the site to go live. If you decide not to go ahead, you don't pay for the build.

The 72-hour guarantee

• The 72 hours starts once I have your logo, photos and service details.
• If your site isn't ready within 72 hours of that, your first three months of care, worth $297, are free.
• Delays waiting on information, approvals or third parties (such as domain transfers or Google verification) don't count toward the 72 hours.

The care plan

• The care plan is $99 a month, starting when your site goes live, billed monthly.
• It covers hosting, your security certificate, security updates, backups, one round of changes each month and direct access to me.
• A round of changes means updates to existing content, like new photos, prices, hours or text. New pages or a redesign are quoted separately.
• There's no contract. Cancel any time with notice before your next billing date.

Refunds and cancellations

• The build: you only pay the $990 after you've seen the finished site and approved it to go live, so there's nothing to refund before then. If you decide not to go ahead, you pay nothing.
• Once you've approved the site and it's live, the build fee isn't refundable. If something isn't right, tell me and I'll fix it.
• Hosting & support: cancel any time by email or text before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. Payments already made for the current month aren't refunded, and your site stays online until the end of that month.
• If I miss the 72-hour guarantee, your first three months of hosting & support are free, as described above.
• None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including a refund or remedy if a service has a major problem.

Ownership

• Once the build is paid for, the website and its content are yours.
• Your domain is registered in your own name and you pay its yearly fee directly to the registrar. If you cancel, I'll hand over the site files and help point your domain to your new provider.

Google and results

I set your site up the way Google recommends and link your Business Profile, but nobody controls Google's rankings or Business Profile verification. I don't promise specific rankings, traffic or enquiries.

Your content

You're responsible for making sure the information on your site, such as prices, licences and claims about your business, is accurate and lawful. I'll update it whenever you ask.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, my liability for any problem is limited to fixing it, or refunding what you paid for the part of the service affected.
